Creator of Levenswater Gin
My eldest daughter reignited my interest in gin 10 years ago but my mother’s stories of my Dutch great grandmother, excited my passion for Dutch gins, which were being distilled as Genever in the 13th century, 3 centuries before it was discovered by the English.
Our Levenswater Gin is inspired by the traditions of early 16th century Dutch distillers.

The name “Levenswater ” originates from the Dutch word for “Water of Life”. It captures the Dutch and Belgian traditions of botanically infusing gin with bold flavors and carefully crafted aromas. The secret recipe is also inspired by the sights, sounds and diversity of Toronto’s Kensington Market and the spirit of Ontario.
